After completing my Diploma in Biotechnology from Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore) in 2007, I was a Laboratory Assistant at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School (Singapore) with the Vasudevan group, working on molecular biology in the Dengue and Chikungunya projects. In 2010, I commenced undergraduate studies in the Bachelor of Biotechnology (Chemistry and Innovation Management) program at the University of Queensland. I am currently doing my Honours Year project with the Fairlie group, working on the Protease-activated receptor 2 (PAR2) project. My project involves designing and synthesizing novel ligands for PAR2.
