Background

In 2004, I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore with a Diploma in Biotechnology. I continued my studies in University of Queensland and did a project with Prof. David Fairlie for my Honours year. My project investigates the immunogenicity of short peptides. I have learnt many different techniques ranging from molecular work, peptide synthesis to animal immunization. I have a lot of help and guidance from the senior researchers in the Fairlie group.

I am currently a PhD student with David. I am investigating the role of immune responses to obesity and infection.

Research Interest
