Background:
I undertook my Bachelor degree on Biotechnology at The University Of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As an undergraduate, my research focused on Microbiology with one and a half years working with Acetobacter xylinum and Lactobacillus.
After graduating, I continued my studies at the same University and also worked as an assistant lecturer. My research moved towards molecular biotechnology, with particular interests emerging in peptide vaccines. Fairlie’s research group at IMB, University of Queensland, involves collaboration between biologists and chemists both within the group and with other groups. The facilities at IMB represent a good environment for undertaking research that inspires me to pursue my studies here as a Masters student.
I hope to successfully complete my course and undertake further studies afterwards.
